Event Coordinator. Globetrotter, environmentalist, and self-proclaimed Trekkie.
Growing up, Sheri dreamed of joining Starfleet Command or becoming a “double 0” agent. When these goals became “a continual work in progress,” she began to expand her interests, spending much of her time engrossed in novels and comic books, painting and the arts, adventure sports, and wildlife rehabilitation.
After several years of travelling to different countries, Sheri decided to get her degree in Travel and Tourism, with a focus on Eco-Adventure Travel. Once she had graduated, she moved to Africa and spent many years immersed in the local wildlife, having outdoor adventures, and learning all she could from different cultures.
Today, Sheri is still a geeky fangirl who is passionate about wildlife protection and rehabilitation. She is also doing what she can to live a zero-footprint life. One day, she hopes to own a self-sustaining Earthship with a farm and an art studio.
Sheri is always up for new challenges, is open to new perspectives, and welcomes the chance to connect with others. She is ready to experience all that this big, beautiful life has to offer, and if one day that includes colonizing Mars, then so be it!
