What Is Military Support Mission
Military Support Mission is a heartfelt activity that brings your team together to show appreciation for active-duty military members and veterans. Participants collaborate to assemble care packages filled with thoughtful items and messages of gratitude, creating a tangible way to give back to those who serve.
This activity encourages teamwork, communication, and a shared sense of purpose, as teams work together to ensure each package is filled with care and consideration. The event concludes with a meaningful moment of reflection as participants learn about the impact their efforts will have on the lives of service members.
Ideal for teams looking to strengthen connections while making a difference, Military Support Mission combines collaboration with a powerful cause for an experience that leaves a lasting impression.
Military Support Mission Agenda
Intro and Team Formation
The event will begin with a welcome from your event host, who will assist in organizing the group into teams at the specified location. Following this, participants will receive a detailed briefing on the activity. Teams will then be guided on how to access challenges via our Outback app, using one mobile device per team.
Military Support Mission Launch
The event host will give instructions on the Military Supply Mission, including an instruction document outlining the tasks at hand and a list of the challenge criteria to earn the supplies needed to produce their care packages.
Military Support Mission
Teams will complete a combination of military themed and general challenges in the app to earn points. Those points help them acquire supplies for care packages for deployed troops. Teams receive these supplies by completing specific challenges for specific supplies, or by reaching a certain score or challenge
benchmark in the app.
Care Pack Creation
With the supplies earned through challenges, Teams will begin to create their care packages. During this time teams may continue to complete challenges in the app in order to get as many points as possible.
Sharing Stories
All attendees will gather together. Individual attendees may choose to share letters they are sending to military members, or describe personal connections to or experience with the military.
Charity Presentation
When available, the recipient charity will offer a brief presentation about the organization and offer thanks to the participants for their generous donation. If the charity cannot be present at the event, your event host will conduct the presentation on the charity’s behalf.
Wrap Up, Recognition, and Photo Op
Teams will reconvene to exchange experiences and review their submissions. The event host will facilitate discussions on key takeaways and lessons learned, culminating in the announcement of the winning team. Winning teams will be awarded Outback Team Building medals. The event will wrap up with congratulations all around to commemorate a successful event.

What happens if we have inclement weather on the day of our activity? (For outdoor activities)
We appreciate that weather is not always predictable, so we have a back-up plan in the event of poor weather. We can switch your event to our indoor app-based Team Pursuit event at no extra charge. You would need to arrange a backup space for the activity, and we need notice of 2 hours to make the switch.
Where do these events take place?
Our events can take place anywhere. We have event coordinators located across North America who can come directly to you—whether it’s your office, a venue of your choice, a meeting space, or a unique location that best suits your needs. We’re flexible and ready to make your event seamless, no matter the location!
What if I need to change the date of my event?
We understand that plans can change, so please reach out as early as possible, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs. Date changes may incur a change fee, please reach out to your Sales Engagement Consultant to discuss further.
What if I need to make a last-minute change to my activity?
Depending on what the change is, we recommend discussing all changes with your dedicated Event Manager to see if we can accommodate the change.
