What Is MLK Jeoparty Social
Step into a dynamic, educational, and interactive experience with Virtual MLK Jeopardy, a quiz game & social experience designed to celebrate the life, legacy, and profound impact of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Hosted on a virtual platform, this engaging event invites participants of to test their knowledge and deepen their understanding of one of history’s most influential leaders.
Participants will compete across various categories inspired by Dr. King’s life, the Civil Rights Movement, and the broader fight for equality. Categories may include:
- “I Have a Dream”: Iconic speeches and writings
- Civil Rights Milestones: Key events in the movement
- Freedom Fighters: Fellow activists and leaders
- MLK’s Legacy in Pop Culture: Recognizing Dr. King in art, media, and beyond
This gameshow will challenge and inspire your team to think critically and reflect on Dr. King’s vision of equality and justice. Expect timed questions, multimedia clues, team conversation mixers, and special rounds to keep the competition lively.
MLK Jeoparty Social Agenda
Intro, Ice Breakers, and Team Formation
Your event host will greet and banter with your group as you arrive, warm them up with a social mixer and quickly divide them into their teams. The social mixer is designed to give guests a great opportunity to make connections with colleagues they don’t often get a chance to talk to.
Jeoparty Competition
Your host will challenge players to 3 to 4 Jeoparty game boards in the main room, with diverse categories and engaging questions. All points earned are awarded to the team leaderboards. At the end of each game board, teams will discuss the game board topics further in a “Take 5” conversation mixer in breakouts.
Final Jeoparty
An exciting last chance to add points to your group trivia scores, your host will reveal a final category, and allow teams to discuss their betting strategy in breakouts. After each team wager is recorded, the host reveals the final question and sends teams back to their breakouts for one minute only to discuss and agree on the team answer. The event host reviews the answers, reveals the Final Jeopardy answer and finalizes the scores.
Wrap Up, Winners + Conclusion
Your host announces the winning team, with virtual trophies displayed, and takes a group photo if requested.
