What Is Campus Goose Chase
Campus Goose Chase is a university campus scavenger hunt built for any group that wants to explore campus together, working in small teams to complete more than 80 challenges through our mobile app. Teams snap photos at landmarks, tackle trivia about campus history and traditions, and take on quirky tasks that get them talking to each other and to the campus community around them.
Schools often run it as a student orientation team building activity, since it’s a natural way to get new students moving around campus, meeting each other, and getting familiar with the community before classes start. It works just as well for staff retreats, leadership programs, alumni weekends, student club events, and campus spirit days. Every challenge is submitted through the app in real time, so teams rack up points as they go and can see how they stack up against the competition.

Intro and Team Formation
The event will begin with a welcome from your event host, who will assist in organizing the group into teams at the specified location. Following this, participants will receive a detailed briefing on the activity. Teams will then be guided on how to access challenges via our Outback web app, using one mobile device per team. Afterward, teams will head outdoors to start tackling the challenges.
Campus Goose Chase
Teams will complete over 80 unique challenges as part of a campus-wide scavenger hunt. Participants will engage with local community members, identify hidden landmarks, and explore lesser-known areas of their campus. All photos and videos documenting their activities will be submitted via the web app. Throughout this event, team members will discover individual strengths, enhance their understanding of one another, and collaborate to accumulate the maximum number of points possible.
Wrap Up, Recognition, and Photo Op
Teams will reconvene at their predetermined endpoint to exchange experiences and review their submissions. The event host will facilitate discussions on key takeaways and lessons learned, culminating in the announcement of the winning team. Winning teams will be awarded Outback Team Building medals. The event will wrap up with congratulations all around to commemorate a successful event.

We appreciate that weather is not always predictable, so we have a back-up plan in the event of poor weather. We can switch your event to our indoor app-based Team Pursuit event at no extra charge. You would need to arrange a backup space for the activity, and we need notice of 2 hours to make the switch.
