Our self-hosted team building activities are designed so your own team can facilitate the experience without an Outback host. After booking, you’ll receive everything you need to run the event, including facilitator instructions, digital materials, and access to our Webapp. Your designated facilitator simply gets everyone started, then can join in and participate alongside the rest of the team while the activity guides everyone through the experience.
The best self-hosted team building activity depends on your team size, goals, and the experience you’re looking to create. Whether you’re looking to bring your team together, strengthen collaboration, improve communication, or simply have fun together, we’ll help you find the right fit. Not sure where to start? Pricing for self-hosted corporate team building events depends on your group size. For example, a group of 30 typically starts at approximately $33 per person, with lower per-person rates available for larger groups. A minimum event investment applies to smaller groups. If you have a specific budget in mind, let us know and we’ll point you toward the best self-hosted option for your group.
We recommend approximately 1.5 hours for most activities. For outdoor scavenger hunt style activities, we recommend 2-2.5 hours. Please note that the introduction and conclusion/closing of the event typically take about 15 minutes each, so please ensure to plan that into your activity time.

You’ll receive access to our web-based app, clear facilitator instructions, planning support, and a demo before your event. If you have questions before your event, our team is available to help. After your event, you’ll also receive access to your event media, including participant photos and videos captured during the experience, where available.
Our self-hosted team building activities are scalable for groups of all sizes. Whether you’re planning for a small team or hundreds of participants, we’ll recommend the best activity based on your group size and objectives.
No professional facilitator is required. One person from your team acts as the event organizer, using our facilitation guide and demo access to run the activity. Outback provides planning support for your event.
In-person and virtual events include a live Outback facilitator running the activity in real time. Self-hosted events give your team the same activity content and app access, but your own designated organizer leads it making it more budget-friendly and schedule-flexible for remote, or in-office groups.
