Why Manitoba Is Great for Team Building
The practical reasons Manitoba works when you need to get a team together.
-
Everyone Can Get There
Winnipeg has about 7,600 hotel rooms for teammates coming in from Brandon or Thompson.
-
Works in Any Weather
The Leaf in Assiniboine Park has four indoor biomes, and the park around it has 1,100 acres of open ground. Whatever the forecast, one of them works.
-
Room for Any Group Size
The Delta’s Grand Ballroom takes 1,100 people. Past that, the RBC Convention Centre has 264,000 square feet.
-
A Downtown Made for Scavenger Hunts
The Exchange District packs 100+ turn-of-the-century buildings into 20 blocks, and since June 2025 a hunt can cross Portage & Main at street level.
-
Somewhere to Go After
The Forks, where the Red and Assiniboine meet, draws four million visitors a year. Corydon’s patios and the Exchange District’s live music venues are there when the event wraps.

Virtual ActivitiesHow to Plan Your Manitoba Team Building Event
Planning a Manitoba team event does not have to be complicated. Here is how it works.
Tell Us About Your Team
Fill out a short form. An Employee Engagement Consultant comes back with activities that fit your group, whether that’s twelve people in a Steinbach office or a few hundred at the RBC Convention Centre.
Pick How It Runs
You can have a fully facilitated event with an Outback host on-site, or run it self-hosted with your own people, our app and our guide. There’s also a virtual option over Zoom for teams split between Winnipeg and Thompson.
Choose Your Space
You pick and book the location. That can be your own space, a downtown hotel like the Delta, a garden at Assiniboine Park or a hall at Brandon’s Keystone Centre. We’ll tell you which suits the activity.
Run the Day
With a host, the facilitator runs the activity and your Dedicated Event Planner stays in touch before and after. Self-hosted, your team runs it with our app and standby support. A hunt through the Exchange District or Team Pursuit at the office, the credit for the day is yours.

Team Pursuit runs indoors, at your own office or a space like the RBC Convention Centre. The convention centre is on downtown’s 38-building skywalk, so people working in a connected building can walk over without going outside. For groups spread across the province, the virtual format needs no room at all.
