A group of engineers from Smartwave Technologies were looking for a fun outdoor team building activity in Toronto, Ontario. But were they ready to outwit, outplay, and outlast?

Quick Facts

A Corporate Castaways Challenge in the City of Toronto

A smart, outgoing, and very competitive group of engineers from Smartwave Technologies was looking for a challenge. Their goal? To have some fun and develop better working relationships. The group reached out to Outback Team Building & Training for a free consultation, and decided that Corporate Castaways would be the perfect fit. This activity helps to bring teammates closer together via a series of mental and physical challenges inspired by the “Survivor” TV show.

The engineers showed up on event day already split into eight different teams, and decked themselves out in matching team outfits. Together, they took on a series of teamwork challenges, such as constructing a shelter, completing a blindfolded obstacle course, and solving a tricky survival puzzle. The event culminated in a food eating challenge that put their determination — and their taste buds — to the test!

“We all had a wonderful day. I think it was the most fun we have ever had – nothing but great reviews! I got hugs from everyone when it was over. GREAT JOB, YOU AND YOUR TEAM WERE FABULOUS. Thanks for making our day such a success!”
