Corporate Team Building Activities in Virginia Beach

There’s no light rail here, and you don’t need one: the region’s line, The Tide, stops at the Norfolk city line and has never reached Virginia Beach. The Town Center business core and the Oceanfront boardwalk both sit inside Virginia Beach itself, a drive apart, not a transit line apart, so pulling a team together is simple.

First Landing State Park’s trails and picnic shelter, and Mount Trashmore Park’s shelters and lake, both work for an outdoor group. If you need to stay indoors, the Convention Center has more than 250,000 square feet of programmable space, and the Virginia Aquarium hosts private events as well. If weather turns on an outdoor day, we move it inside instead of calling it off.

A single picnic shelter at First Landing State Park (about 80 people) or one of Mount Trashmore Park’s eleven shelters for a smaller group, or the Virginia Beach Convention Center’s 250,000+ square feet of programmable space at 1000 19th Street for a group in the thousands.

The Oceanfront boardwalk and the ViBe Creative District’s murals and indie shops sit next to each other, which makes for a walkable stretch for a scavenger hunt or an outdoor city challenge.

Town Center’s restaurants and breweries are inland, a fit if your group is based near the business core. At the Oceanfront, the boardwalk has waterfront dining a short walk from the ViBe District’s murals and shops, for teams who’d rather end the day near the water.
