Companies host at their own office or a convention space like McCormick Place in Chicago or the Peoria Civic Center, and some take it outdoors to Grant Park, with Outback bringing the event to them. Outdoor groups of 50 or more in a Chicago park need a Chicago Park District permit, which you arrange (we’ll tell you what kind of space the activity needs).
Lincoln Park and the 18-mile Lakefront Trail work well for active, route-based formats, and if the weather turns on a lakefront event, we move it indoors or reschedule. The lakefront can run cooler than a mile inland, so tell your team to bring a layer.
