Self-Hosted Campus Goose Chase
Teams race around campus, re-enacting historic moments at familiar landmarks and capturing campus life through creative photo and video challenges. This self-hosted campus scavenger hunt turns freshman orientation, a department outing, or any campus event into a shared adventure.
What Is Self-Hosted Campus Goose Chase
Self-Hosted Campus Goose Chase turns any campus into an interactive playground, sending teams out to complete photo and video challenges at familiar landmarks and hidden corners of campus. It’s a DIY college orientation activity with everything included: challenge content, a facilitation guide, and browser app access, ready to run for orientation week, a department outing, or any campus event. As a self-guided student team building activity, students build peer connections while getting to know campus outside the classroom.
Why Teams Love Self Guided Student Team Building
- More than just a scavenger hunt. Challenges send teams to real campus landmarks and everyday spots, and just as often push them to meet new people, from tracking down a lookalike to challenging a stranger to an arm-wrestling match.
- No orientation-planning expertise required. Whoever’s running the event just follows the included guide, no professional facilitator needed for this self-hosted campus scavenger hunt.
- Ready for orientation week or any time after. This DIY college orientation activity works just as well for welcome week as it does for a mid-semester department outing.
- Scales from one class to the whole student body. From a group of 10 to 5,000+, this self-guided student team building activity works at any size.
Whether you’re organizing a frosh week activity or looking for an innovative way to engage students and staff, this experience is sure to leave everyone buzzing with excitement.
