Forget lemonade stands, the “PowerPlay Young Entrepreneurs” have a real passion for business. Watch them in action, and find out how we’re supporting their success.

You’re never too old – or too young – to become an entrepreneur. Check out how Outback Team Building & Training is supporting budding business owners as part of our Outback Cares program.

Outback Team Building & Training recently sponsored a program called “PowerPlay Young Entrepreneurs.” The program supports young students as they develop their own businesses. From clay charm bracelets, to Lego picture frames, each student developed their own unique product and business:

“Learning and improving is so important to us here” said Murray Seward, President, Outback Team Building & Training. “I really love how we can help out some of the schools with an experiential learning piece like this. It’s a great way to give back, and get kids excited about business.”

The young entrepreneurs started out by mapping their success with a realistic business plan. Through fun games and activities, they learned how to design their own products, conduct market research, set prices, and create marketing materials.

The students then put their plans into action at the Young Entrepreneur Show. By donating a portion of their profits to charity, students were also able to discover the importance of giving back some of their success.

If you are part of a charity or non-profit that would like assistance from Outback Cares, please send us an email outlining your organization and your needs.
