As a kid, Stephanie was a big fan of summer camp and sports. After trying as many athletic activities as possible, she eventually fell in love with curling and baseball, which she played competitively for many years. After high school, she studied recreation and sports management, and pursued a career in promoting sport for development.
Now, Stephanie works as an event planner for both non-profit and corporate organizations. Her passion for sports is still very much a part of her life, and she loves being able to plan teamwork events that have an athletic or competitive component, such as The Amazing Chase.
In her spare time, Stephanie enjoys visiting new areas and seeing different parts of the world. At the age of 12, she was bit by the “travel bug” when she went as an exchange student to France, and has made exploring a priority ever since.
On the side, Stephanie also enjoys playing ultimate frisbee, softball, and pub trivia. A perfect day for her would include sitting on the beach with a good book, and spending time with friends and family.
