Rae is a bright and spirited college instructor who loves to make people laugh. She has taught and developed curriculum for newcomer and refugee communities in the education and non-profit sectors for nearly 10 years. In addition to her work in education, Rae specializes in workplace skills and management and language-upgrading through a trauma-informed lens. Her passions are to empower others through knowledge and create a strong sense of community in the groups she works with.
Creating synergy is a large part of what Rae enjoys about working with people, and the fun and dynamic activities at Outback Team Building and Training inspired her to become an event coordinator.
Naturally inquisitive, Rae likes to explore and live abroad. She has travelled across much of Asia and has quite a few countries left on her bucket list. Her dream is to visit Hadrian’s Wall one day and have an authentic English brekkie.
In her spare time, Rae enjoys reading fiction and nonfiction, writing or journaling in nature, and visiting local dessert shops. She is confident she has sampled nearly every chocolate bar in Japan and North America.
